In speaking of his first Christmas season in Dallas, host Laurent Robinson said he really enjoyed the recent visits the Cowboys made to local children’s hospitals. Noting how hard it is for children to be hospitalized, he commented, “Making them smile – that’s what it’s all about!” Robinson is a newlywed
and is looking forward to his first Christmas with lovely wife, Katherine.

Robinson welcomed his guest, Cowboys fullback, Tony Fiammetta, recently back from injured reserve. Fiammetta has been a welcome addition to the team this year. He was drafted and played two years for the Carolina Panthers, cut in August, when he got the call from the Cowboys. Saying he “loves to run the ball…Dallas is a great place for me!” Both Robinson and Fiammetta praised the recent addition of runnning back, Sammy Morris, saying he’s a great back that has already made a difference. Robinson added “when you’re running behind Tony, he’s going to open up holes”!

Both players say they’re ready for the game with Philly this Saturday. Laurent Robinson is currently tied with Dez Bryant with a team-leading 9 touchdowns, and he is looking to take the lead this weekend. Fiammetta says the team is ready to go – “we’ve learned from our mistakes and are ready to win!”

After a successful 20-19 Thanksgiving Day win against the Miami Dolphins

Matt Barrie and host Sean Lee welcomed wide receiver Laurent Robinson to the show. Robinson received high praise for his outstanding work as he leads the team with 7 touchdowns this season, as well as 554 yards in receptions.

Sean Lee said Robinson had “really stepped up his game” since Miles Austin had been out with a hamstring injury. He also praised Robinson’s ability to stay focused and his emphasis on taking care of his body to avoid injuries. Robinson said it’s his intent to “do everything possible to stay on the field”. He is also working every day to improve his game time chemistry with Tony Romo so there will be more seamless receptions.

Kicker Dan Bailey also received kudos for his exceptional record this season kicking field goals.

Dallas now leads the NFC East and the players both believe this team is ready to peak. They expect a tough game with the Arizona Cardinals as every team is now playing with intensity to make the playoffs, while players are working hard to maintain their roster position.

Our next edition of “Inside the Huddle” will film on Monday, December 5th at 7:30 pm at the “House of Blues” in Dallas. Hope you can join us!
