Injury Update for the Cowboys
After witnessing many injuries during Sunday’s game, we have a better insight on what the future looks like for the Cowboys.
Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee went under surgery to repair a sports hernia and will be sitting on the sidelines for at least six weeks, according to NFL Network. Offensive tackle Cameron Erving is also looking at the possibility of being out due to a sprained knee.
Another key player that is on the injured reserve is starter Leighton Vander Esch with a collarbone fracture and is expected to sit out 6-8 weeks after surgery.
On Tuesday, the organization signed rookie linebacker Rashad Smith from the Bears’ practice squad. The Cowboys also signed Alex Light from the Cardinals’ practice squad. Back in 2018, Light made an appearance in 13 games for Coach McCarthy in Green Bay.
